Artist Applications – Closed for the 2022 Festival.
Thanks to those who have applied for the 2022 Port Fairy Folk Festival. Due to the postponement of the 2021 festival, we have held over previous artist applications for 2022.
A celebration of music, culture and community, Port Fairy Folk Festival welcomes all applications from artists across a range of genres including music, theatre, spoken/written word, street theatre, children’s entertainment, dance and comedy. Each year the the Festival books around 100 artists from both national and international applications. Community Grants for Port Fairy Organisations
The Port Fairy Folk Festival Committee Inc. provides financial support to community groups and not-for-profit organisations that show significant benefit to the Port Fairy community. Funding is allocated annually in July each year, and will be advertised accordingly. The recipients and amount of funding will be at the discretion of the PFFF Committee. The festival prides itself on a brilliant variety of music and creative experiences and a part of this is our food village in the Arena.

Instrument Makers’ Exhibition –invitations will be sent out in September.Please sign up to our enews for opening and closing dates. New instrument makers can contact the program team to be added to the invitation list.
We are proud to host one of the largest interactive hand made instrument exhibitions in Australia. This is no static exhibition; rather it is a vibrant and bustling hub of knowledge, information and the joy of playing. The exhibition culminates in a special Australian Made & Played concert. We are on the hunt for a crack team of volunteer MC and Stage Managers for both large and small stages. If you are over 18 years of age and have skills and experience in either area or are keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
