The Currency combine Celtic folk with punk rock ‘n’ roll. Front man Justin Moore sings tales of Australian history over a six-piece band with violin and mandolin alongside a rock rhythm section. The result is a high energy show which gets the crowd singing along and dancing like crazy. Their self-titled album was released in 2009 and the band played sold out shows with many international acts. After a six-year hiatus, the lads and lasses of The Currency are excited to be playing again.
