Oxo Cubans

Thirty years ago, five Oxo Cubans began tinkering with tones on park benches and at peak beaches. Five albums and 58 tours later, these court jesters on just ten legs are the know-it-all’s of halls, balls, malls and festivals. Watch your grandparents’ grins grow as they cajole chuckles from the cheeks of children, make musical grooves for smooth movers and bust out a boogie with the baby boomers. Tuba, trombone, saxophones, drums and congas. Singing, whistling, dancing, rapping and fooling around. Brass percussion and vocal contrapuntal funk that’s tightly arranged and slightly deranged.
