Marilla Homes is a Feldenkrais practitioner, remedial massage therapist, and an accomplished performer and classically trained singer. She runs the Opera Studio and Wellbeing Centre, where her clients range from elite performers to beginning singers, rehab clients and stroke patients, and teaches Feldenkrais to the Music Foundation students at the Victorian College of the Arts. She is the co-director of CrosSings choir. Her debut album Inner Whirl was released in 2011, and is a mixture of folk and bluesy songs. Her band Marilla Homes and the Housemen formed mid 2013 and has so far performed at Kilmore Celtic and Maldon Folk Festivals, while Marilla has performed and presented in her own right at Woodford Folk, Daylesford Singers and Tamworth Country Music Festivals already in 2014.
