The following contains further information for patrons with accessibility enquiries regarding the Port Fairy Folk Festival.
COMPANION CARD
The Companion Card (Victoria only) is welcome at the festival. Victorian and interstate visitors without a Companion Card must include a doctor’s letter verifying that they need carer assistance and notify ticketing of their requirements
Companion Card is a government initiative promoting the rights of people with a disability who require a companion. The Companion Card has been designed to allow carers of people with disabilities to access an event without charge, with a paying patron.

HEARING IMPAIRED
People who are deaf or have a hearing or speech/communication impairment can also access the Companion Card number by calling the National Relay Service on 1800 555 677 or the Speech to Speech Relay Service on 1800 555 727 and asking to be connected to the Companion Card Information Line.

PICK UP & DROP OFF POINTS
Located outside the main pedestrian entry to the Festival Arena, on Campbell St. (Near Stage 5)
ACCESSIBLE PARKING
For holders of Designated Disabled Parking Persons’ Permit a section of the main Festival Arena has been set aside for parking, for patrons who hold a Designated Disabled Parking Persons’ Permits. (Blue Permits holders only). Go to the vehicle entry gate on Atkinson Street, where you will be directed to the allocated parking area.
ACCESSIBLE TOILETS
Unisex accessible toilets are available in two locations inside the main Festival Arena. The location of the toilet facilities are clearly displayed by appropriate signage.
-Portable toilet near the Cricket Pavilion
-Inside Stage 5 building (Sports Stadium)
MOVING AROUND
The Festival Arena site is located on an outdoor sports ground, providing even, step-free access between Stages and facilities. Temporary Stages can be accessed by people in wheelchairs or with limited mobility via event flooring which is laid in the aisles.
SEATING INSIDE THE MAIN ARENA
Stage 3 is a fully seated venue and where feature concerts are held. It has allocated wheelchair seating points at the end of selected aisles. All other venues have ample space for wheelchairs. Some Stages have limited tables and chairs available. Seating and tables are provided in designated undercover eating areas.
