1977 : Nana's Gardens


Ann "Nance" Harman, with members of her family, attended the first festival in 1977.
She and her husband, Ted, were curators of the very same Port Fairy Gardens in the 1930s. Her grandson, Jamie McKew, chose Port Fairy as the venue for the festival due to the close family connection.
