Diane Jackson Hill

Diane has taught in primary schools and organised festivals and entertainment for children. Her interest in picture books was revived when her grandchildren came along and she began writing for children at the age of 58. She has published three books – Baby Band, Annabels Dance and most recently Chooks in Dinner Suits, with a fourth book Windcatcher on its way. Diane lives by the sea in southwest Victoria and loves finding out more and more about the ocean and the creatures that live there. She appreciates the mammoth effort small groups of people are making to protect and restore the precious marine environment.
