Boo Hewerdine is regarded as one of the greatest (and busiest) songwriter performers in the business. His work includes lead singer and creative force behind The Bible, formed in the 1980s, as well as solo recordings and work for film. He has been described as “one of Britain’s most consistently accomplished songwriters”.
Most recently Boo wrote Radio Ballads for the BBC’s Olympic and recent Child Migration series. Elsewhere, new songs were commissioned for art galleries and museums, including the Beneath The Dark Cloth project at the Met in New York.
He is a brilliant artist in his own right and has collaborated with some of the world’s finest including Eddi Reader, Kris Drever, and Chris Difford, just to name a few.
